first I took the standard bridge picture, Created a raster Layer, then used 'Freehand' (Point to Point) to cut out the fireman/car from the donor picture, then I pasted the image onto the Bridge picture, because I pasted the chopped parts onto the raster layer I was then able to blend the top raster layer into the background using the eraser on the raster layer with the opacity turned right down, I then added more smoke using the airbrush, I even added slight fire reflection to the surrounding tree's.
