first you have to learn the balance of 1 leg squats.

stand on 1 foot, put your arms and other leg out in front of you (off of the ground)......and squat as low as possible.....they are hard as shit and not as good as regular squats for building mass.

then when you can do a bunch of reps, hold a DB in the hand on the same side as which foot is down.

you know what, never mind squirrel monkey. I think i'm going to take biggie's advice (for once), and become more of a powerlifter now. thanks for all the information. ...now, i just need to find a decent powerlifting schedule that i can do without a squat rack..

Powerlifting without squats?

I am a Powerlifter (training hard till a knee injury) Look at some of my other threads. I have many more programs than this one listed........my back to basics may suite you well.

good luck.

I am back on basic POF.

I have taken a few months just lifting twice per week and I feel like shit.

I just purchased:

Powerrack
barbell
600 lbs of plates
powertec adjustable dbs 5-130 lbs
bench
curl bar.

If i can't get it done with this.....I can't get it done.

training time is down to 45 min per day (not counting morning cardio)
