one thing that a lot of people notice when they swap to soy milk is less abdomenal discomfort. more people have mild lactose intollerances than we realize. some jsut don't notice the discomfort as much as some extreme cases do.

I drink almost a gallon of milk a day and have no discomfort. Must be lucky.

that's a ton of milk. you realize that's:

16 cups = 1 gal.

1 cup (Fat free milk) = 90 cal's.

1 gal milk = 1440 cal's. that's what i eat in one day.
