So i have ps7 and it says brushes arent compatible with that version? am i missing something or do i need an add-on proggy? Also while im asking 20 questions lol, what outside filter plug ins do you guys use and like and what do they do? i havnt seen a topin on after market plug ins so thought i would bring it up, and do you guys consider it cheating too use said filters?

Sorry, I created the brushes using CS2, so I guess they won't work with earlier versions.
Brushes
Copy brush files .abr to the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Brushes directory
Plug-ins as listed under Dookie:
Most Plug-Ins come with an installation routine that will find and place the files in the correct folder. The default location is the photoshop "plug-ins" directory located under C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins and each plugin should have it's own sub-directory.
ok, I put it in the folder with the other brushes but I cant find where or how to access it in photoshop.
I'm using CS2
I go to "load brushes" and it shows up, so I click on it and it acts like it does something but the brushes are no where to be found.
i had that same issue, but i just had to restart photoshop.

If you had photoshop open when you loaded the files into the directory, some older versions of PS had issues realizing the files were there until a restart.
