Removing the surfer's head: Well I basically took the smudge tool, set the size to 100px and strngth to 75% and reduced the size of the head so that it wouldn't be visible. That's not a very clean way to do it but hey it worked for me



To fill the rest of the background I chose the clone stamp tool, set the size to 65 (opacity and flow both on 100%). You must first alt+click on an area where there is the sky, this will define the source region. Then start painting the empty areas.

Nice tut but this can sound kinda noobish but i'm stuck :(
could you plz help me?
these are my stuck places :
-The size of Shrek’s head doesn’t match the shoulder width of Silver Surfer. Set both scales to 110%
-Click on the ''gradient color'' and a second window will appear. Add a new Color Stop, click underneath the bar (where my middle Color Stop is). You can change the colors of the Color Stop by double clicking on them. The middle one need to be lighter than the darkest color to the right. Now move the middle Stop until you are satisfied with the color of the head.

i cant find the gradiant map and how to make this shrek head bigger :(
