Nice tutorial. Skin smoothing and softening is the number one issue among glamour retouchers. Have you tried the dodge and burn technique for skin? I used to use degrunge, but dodge and burn using curves in conjunction with healing seems to be the new hot technique for skin. Good job, can't wait to see more!

I've never really gotten into dodge and burn for smoothing I tend to use it for other stuff like touching up near the end, but I used to use Gaussian blur, Still do sometimes, it depends on the picture really.
I figure that the healing brush should only be used for major blemishes and spots, I like to keep the faces character so I dont use it for anything else , But it is comming up in one of my tuts.

I've been using photoshop for quite long and i was trying to figure out how to soften my skin. .haha i just use the clone stamp and blur the edges. .thank you for sharing. . i will try that soon. .
