How to add filter effects to video in Photoshop CS3 Extended

Audio quality could be better. I need a new microphone.

good vid.
would of liked to see a little more "how to" though.

I havn't even figured out how to open a vid in photoshop yet without it converting to thousands of frames like its trying to make a massive .gif file.

Thanks! Just open the vid like you are opening a regular photo. It will open in a video layer. If you use the "import" feature, each frame will open in it's own layer which can be hundreds depending on the length of the clip. Use the "export" feature to render finished video. Quicktime settings seem to provide the best quality.

That's easy to create josh but it wil eat more RAM........ie why adobe recommends 1GB RAM for only using their products. :

I cant get any vids to even open in photoshop cs3 extended.

Most of them say "wrong format" and the few that do open, just open a white blank screen with nothing on it and nothing to edit.

What format are you using to begin with?

Josh, do you have the latest Quicktime player and codecs installed on your computer? You need that. After that is done photoshop will support .mov, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .mp4, .m4v. For some reason many editors do not like XVID. In order for me to open an XVID in my video editor I have to use a 4cc changer to convert to DIVX. Photoshop seems not to support XVID or DIVX. The only workaround I know is to open your video editor and convert XVID/DIVX to Quicktime. Hope this helps.

I use Sony Vegas 7. Version 8 has been out for a few months but I haven't changed yet.
