In this tutorial, I will show you how to easily create dirty, grungy pipes in Photoshop. This is the same way I create pipes in my darker art. example of various pipes -

yep a few textures and the dodge/burn tool and you have some pipes.

You can also create a rectangle and fill it with a gradient and then a layer of texture on top. Its just another way of doing things.

I just found the .psd file to that pic I posted. I think Im going to add some more stuff to it and sell it as a print.

I'm sure this is a noob problem.... I have one of the textures as the background and I have used the rectangular marquee tool to select where I want to make a pipe, but I can't figure out how to make that selection as the other texture. I try fill and all but no dice... pointers in the right direction would be appreciated..
Where are you keepin all this high class art? Do you have an online gallery of what you call you high end stuff?

make sure you first save the texture as a pattern. Then all you should have to do is go to edit/fill and select pattern.
