A member asked how they were to go about putting themselves in a different setting. Theres a couple different steps, and this is how I do it.
Step 1. Open both images in photoshop. With the lasso, select the area you want to transfer to the second image. (In this case, the golfer in the first pic) Either copy it and paste it onto the second image, or drag and drop it from one to the other. -
Step 2. Using crtl + T, resize the selection to make it the right size. Hit enter to make the changes.
Step 3. Using the eraser with a small, soft brush, start to erase around the sides. Do this around the whole selection (This step can also be done using the magnetic lasso. I find the lasso leaves hard rough areas, so I use the eraser, as it leaves softer edges. Its up to you.)
Almost done-just a couple more steps
Step 4. Using the regular lasso tool, go around the figure, deleting the rest of the background.
Step 5. Sometimes after deleting the background, it leaves a little background left, around the figure. You may need to go around and clean up the edges with an eraser.
This is what it should look like now.
To make it more realistic, you can add a shadow. To do this, simply duplicate the figure, rotate it and place it where you think the shadow should go. make it black by using brightness/contrast, and then give it a good blur (I use the gaussian blur). Set the shadow layer opacity to around 25-50 percent. There you go. Have fun!
