Opening a .gif in photoshop

not sure if this is really a tutorial or not but i just found it. i didnt know how to open a .gif in PS and i came across this from a site i went too. others that don't know might find it useful

Choose: File » Import » Video Frames to Layers

In the file browser in Windows, type *.* in the File Name and press Enter or click Load.

It will not open any file, but it will view every file without restriction of Type of Files.

Open your animated GIF files, it will show you a dialog box regarding the imports. Press OK to import as default.

Voila! The file is opened in animation frames.

You can view the animation frames from: Windows » Animation

What PS version do u have? I don't see that option in ps7 -=/

I think he has CS4, but it may be CS3... I can't remember which one he decided on.

CS3 doesnt seem to have that option available.
