Waterdrop Tutorial in photoshop

Didn't want this lost in another thread...


This is a combination of 2 tutorials I found for making water drops. I can't find the one anymore so I'll try and wing it.

UltraViolet: it's not too bad if you follow the steps. the good thing is that once you create the water drop style, you can recreate the waterdrops with one click




here's another example with the blending options tweaked.

UltraViolet I only just started learning photoshop in school (Uni) 4 weeks ago.. prior to that I had never used this program before.. now I love it and wish i had been using it a few years ago ( was a Macromedia user)... but I can tell you these are fairly simple to do and believe me its so kewl to try them.. these guys are great in their tutorials... Give it a try you never know

I am more than happy to report that I've tried this and it works wonderfully! I had a little bit of trouble with it and got one setting wrong, but once I found the problem and fixed it, BINGO! This is great!

I learned two things here -- how to make the droplet effect, and how to save it for reuse, so this was a valuable lesson.
