question about god

today during english class our teacher spent most of the period talking about religion and god (i thought it was illegal but i could give a flying fuck) anyways he says the chirstian god is the same as the ***ish god and even the same as alah, its all one god. this raised an eyebrow to me because i know for damn sure the christain god isnt nammed alah, i didnt ask any questions but he said we all worship the same god, so i thought what ever... your a tool im off to sleep for your class now

According to christianity there is only one god, and that is it. No allah, no nothing or any of that crap. The god of christianity is just that, a god to christians. According to the bible god is father of every humand being, and only those who are christian can get in to heaven. All these other religions I'm not sure about. Also I don't know exactly but I think the ***s believe Jesus wasn't gods son, but god is still the same as christianity. I may be wrong on that though.

Like I said I don't know much about other religions but according to christianity there is only one god who caters to only one religion, christianity. So that would mean (according to christians) all other religions are going to hell.

Yahweh(Christian and ***ish god) and Allah are the same god.

Jesus, Moses and Noah all appear in the Koran(Islam holy book). It's just that Muslims say that the Koran is God's final word. They believe Allah(God) first wrote the Bible, but then wrote the Koran as the final word.

I could go into a longer explanation, but it would take too long and I know someone would shout Colin.

the "one God" idea comes from the idea that He can appear differently to different peoples. Some people think that God has appeared to different people in different ways because it was necessary. Each religion's story is influenced by their culture, and stories change over time, so eventually all the religions look different after a few thousand years.

Basically, all monotheistic religions are similar. They worship one god, try to follow a moral code and attempt to share their god with others.

It's not too far fetched, really.
