I'm going there in a few minutes to take a pic.....and bring him an egg crate and lambs wool doggie bed we got for him last night so he doesn't have to sleep on the concrete he has been on for weeks.
we rubbed all over it to get our scent on it so he will start associating our smell with comfort.

I love this dog!
my dog slept on a shirt of me and hubby's to get our scent. she was always a house dog and has never had to worry about the cold or heat. it's so funny, she won't even go out to use the bathroom if it's raining. she steps out from under the porch and takes off back up the steps toward the door.
well actually it is a belgian malanois but most people just think of them as sheps. He is 1 1/2 years old and around 65-70 lbs..........he has one blue eye and one brown!
I named him Argus/Argos (depends if you like the greek or latin spelling better) after Ulysses dog from the illiad and the odysey.

our humane society won't release them until after they are fixed. did you have it done there or at a vet?
he is getting fixed there.....thats what he is in surgery for......then they let you take him home while he is still doped up to make the transition easier!!!!

yes it does. now when cricket is in transit she wants to sit in my lap. i can't drive with an 80 lb dog sitting on me.
this little sucker is cool too.............I want to train him to snarl and growl on command. but not to attack!
other than that......just sit, stay, bring me a beer, and lick the beer off of my floor when i spill it........and to shake!
My cousin had a weird-ass dog that he taught to do anything. His best one was "grin". The dog would show all his teeth, but not growl or look menacing. He would just grin at you, and it was really freaky.

I hope he will be smart enough.......I just have no Idea how to train such behaviors
