i just got a statement that i somehow overdrew? not sure how to handle this because ive never overdrawn before. i have my last receipt of my last withdrawl and it said i had $2 left. i plan on telling them this and if they want me to pay their BS $50 fee what should i do??

i was thinking of just saying close my account and sign up at a different bank.... would that work??? im not paying their bs fee that i didnt do.

about all you really can do is kick yourself in the butt and pay it. It will go against your credit if you leave it as an unpaid debt. You don't want that.

I've overdrawn before. I was about 17 when i did. Sad thing was, i went to close that account and i thought i settled all of the overdraft crap and i had to pay them because my acct still had a negative balance. I'm more careful about that now.

me and money management aren't good friends... nope!

your bank will maintain that debt. they will harrass you until they get their money, i'm pretty sure. I get pissed when someone owes me money and doesn't pay.

oh, some banks have a policy that if your debt is not cleared within so many days, your negative balance increases. i know compass has one.

the next acct you open, be sure that bank offers overdraft protection.

some do have a set rule with a minimum balance. i'd go back and look at the papers you signed when the acct was opened up. i know our joint checking acct does.

Call them up and tell them it is bullshit and you refuse to pay this stupid fee. Threaten to take your bussiness some where else. I did this and they knocked down my debt. I over drafted like 4 times in one day, I used my debt card to buy a Gatorade at the store, then bought some beef jerky at another store, and then I bought a V8 at another store, and then I stoped of for a bite to eat. The next day when checking my account they said I owed $ 209.34 All 4 purchases were under 4 bucks. I ended up only having to pay the $9.34 after I spoke to the customer reps.

Just tell them your situation, I recomend you lie to them. If that doesn't work then tell them bitches to suck your dick or cock.
