How many people only use camera phones and not cameras?

Ive got to get a camera, but then I was thinking that I could just update my phone and get a camera phone instead. Anyone do this?

Or should I get a camera and a camera phone or just a camera phone and no camera?

It all depends on your use. Personally I'd rather have a nice little camera like my Cannon Elph S550. It's not very expensive, about $250-300 and is 5mega pixel. It has a good flash and can take like 500 pics on HI REs

On the other hand they are coming out with a lot nicer camera phones these days. Verizon has one out that's 3.1 mega pixel (all you really need) and is still fairly small. I just don't think it can give you the same quality as a normal camera.

Because camera phones usually produce a low resolution, I would normally say just go with a camera and a phone. BUT, and I say but big time because I recently picked up a sony ericsson W800 and this has just about the very best camera that I have ever seen on a phone. It definitely does the trick and the pics are not bad...

get a camera phone with a 1.3 megapixel resolution and that shit works pretty well. also if you are looking for a new phone but dont want to pay retail price or sign up for a 2 year contract send me a pm, I got the hookup on just about any phone @ wholesale prices.
