One of the funniest radio bits I ever heard was in '94 on the Ron and Ron show (syndicated out of Tampa - which was like the Death Metal mecca at the time) They were interviewing the guy from deicide, who had a new cd out, and fuggin' Corey Feldman calls in to hump his new cd (yeah, everyone's rushing out to buy cd's from a washed-up kid-kinda-star who's suddenly decided he wants to be a rock star now that he sucks as an actor).
So Ron and Ron decide to do a track by track comparison between deicide and Corey Feldman -
They'd play a track of this formula pop bullshit fom Corey Feldman, then follow up with a track from deicide.
I literally almost wet trou listening to the comments from (I'm pretty sure it was glen) deicide and then that weenie Corey Feldman trying to defend his "music" ("well, we're totally different styles!" O RLY??? lolo).
It went on for like 20 minutes or more - I was working with my brother's concrete crew, and everyone literally stopped and gathered around the truck to listen.
