Update Im feeling somewhat better but it hurts alot if laying down and I try to get back up, I hated to do it but I got myself a bottle of E&J and a 12 pack of Natty so hoppefully after I watch the Lakers get mercisilly pounded by the Mavs I can pass out.I really hate this I guess we really take our health and strength for granted

dude I have been expericing the same thing for the past 8 months
its been getting better - ive been lifting lighting and with a belt and its slowly getting a lil better :knocks on wood:
its a muscle strain, it was unbearable at times
Yeah its pretty painful, whats really upsetting to me is even though it doesnt look I like to be active and do alot of stretching and jump rope and stuff like that, and its pretty humbling when your on the ground and you can barely get up , I noticed alot of people dont understand it and make seem like the person injured is a hypocondriatic, but yeah its painful. Its pretty funny Ive never had a back injury from deads or even questionable form squats but one little thing could set one back so much.

damn bubba, i just learnt a new word.
but you're dead right. make sure you give it enough time to heal and dont place any extra stress on it. even when it starts feeling better, give it some more time (in the past i thought my back injury was sweet but re-injured it straight away).

Im not sure if I spelled it right LOL, anyways I was laying down and I tried to get up but couldnt so I rolled on my side and angled myself to get up, it really sucks when I was hurt 3 years ago I wasnt in this much pain, my days of deadlifting and squatting are over I think, Im just gonna rest my back, I hate to not do some type of exercise but what are gonna do? This really focking sucks,my main concern is I hope this is not a permanent thing, I hope its a temporary thing.

Yep that hurts pretty bad ,so if I have to get something from the floor I cant bend down I look to the ceiling and squat down and I've noticed that takes a ton of pressure off my back

LOL, It takes the pressure off the back though,if you dont mind me asking how did you injure your back? and also how long did it take to feel relief? I kind of feel like a dumbass for cutting out Deads and alot of conditioning stuff I use to do, I used to do a ton of bridges on my head and core strengthing stuff and never got injured, I've noticed since Ive cut the conditioning exercises and deads out Ive been weaker and obviously I never had a back injury before from weights or exercise and look what happened.

deadlifts with incorrect form when i first started, roughly a year ago. It's funny, now i deadlift over twice the weight i got injured on and feel fine - what a difference good form makes. Anyway, so yeh it was kinda fucked up from that, then i jumped off the roof one day and it felt like i snapped my back in half when i hit the ground (rookie mistake).
All in all it probably took me a good 4-5 months to heal (no squats or deadlifts in that time). that was longer than expected though i tried to rush back into it and reinjured myself. I went to the physio for 2 weeks and that made a HUGE difference.
