I'm just beginning to get gif animating down with imageready. I need to get a better understanding on optimizing and file formats and compression for a faster loading image with quicker frame rates. I was just tinkering with Imageready and had to go through 17 frames because of Captain Hero's tassle spin. For some kick ass flash animations check out Killfrog.com, Camp Chaos.com, Jib-Jab.com, and newgrounds. Another animator, John Krikfalusi (Ren&Stimpy) used to have an awesome flash series called the *****m George Liquor Show. Spumco.com-I think it might not be on the net anymore though. I used macromedia once, but forgot everything about it. This was 6 years ago. Lack of use/perishable skills.

i did a bit of flash animation in a class 2 years ago. made a couple of basic stuff, didn't touch on the programming side of things......dont think id like that

I don't have that much time anymore but yeah I am into Flash animation/Actionscripting. My latest project is a fighting game engine. It's not completed yet.

i dunno, I almost have an associates degree in computer programming so.. I mean, I have the logic for it and the script library is at my fingertips.. its great.

I have Macromedia Flash 8 registered but i have no clue how to use it. im fuckin lost. any help would be great! i'd love to make flash intros for sites and maybe even cartoons

Yea, I was gonna make a cool, simple loop animation header with some on mousover events to get to the main page. That is if you or josh wanted to have that done.

but drawing a stick figure frame by frame really gets annoying

i wish i was better at drawing so i could make better figures :(

I use sprites that have been taken from other games. I'm currently using Street Fighter character because I suck at drawing

Thats why you make each bodypart into a movie clip (object), so I you gotta do is make a new key frame and tween the way you want it.. loads faster than drawing the figure over and over.

wish i knew that 2 years ago when i made a 1min long stick figure animation
