Free Concert

Going to see Cheap Trick and Dashboard Confessional this evening.
They sent 750 free tickets, so I gave some to a couple friends and I'll take my oldest son with me.
It's the 3rd year they've had a concert during Masters week.
They try to cover the older demographic that's usually in town for the Masters and also bring in younger people as well, hence the oddly mixed bill.
Last year was Hootie and the Blowfish (lolo) and Collective Soul.
The first year was Hootie as well, and I got to go VIP with my boss lady, plus a buddy, so I got to chow down on freebies and such, he got free beer (I don't drink) and life was good.
Gonna try to get the camera in and take some cool pics.

Damn, thats awesome! You've got a pretty sweet job from the sounds of it.

If you ever get tired of working there though, I could probably pull some strings and get you a position at the Thread Grading Command Center. just let me know.

OK, they changed up on me
after saying no video cams, but still cams would be allowed, when I got to the gate they said no cameras period.
so all i have are teh shitty phone cam shots
Oh, and I got a guitar pick, which was pretty hard because he only threw out a few thousand of them.
It was an OK show, mostly since it was free, but I am disappointed they didn't play "gonna raise hell"
