Definately possible yes - the day a new DVD comes out, I can usually download it using P2P software from someone who's ripped it..

But, I've tried to do it myself with no luck.. it always says its 'copyright protected'.

There are programs that suposedly rip the dvd and make it into a file format that take the copyright syuff off - then you can burn it as you please and sell your illegal copies to who ever you want.

But i've tried that (not the selling) and it still didnt work!

theres a program called 'dvd decrypter' that copies all the files from a DVD onto your computer.......takes anywhere from 10 - 50 minutes. Im guessing you could just burn those files onto a blank DVD and it would work, or you can use this other program to turn the movie into .avi format thats 700mb big and sits on your computer
