i wasnt even supposed to work.... i went in today to pick up my tips from last night, and had to cover the front for 5 mins while we had to go pick up ice for our soda machine. well some douchebag started complaining that we had no ice... and i tried to be polite... he was about 45-50 yrs old. but then he tried to step up in my face.. so being the idiot i am, i step right up in his face and im about half an inch from his face. i was polite the whole time, but then he calls me "rude" and i inform him that i have been polite to him and im sorry about the situation and that we went to go get ice and that our ice maker is broken. he then informs me he should" punch me in the face for being so rude". then i step up to him all the way and my nose touches his, and i tell him simply "i wouldnt recommend it. if you touch me, im going to fucking deck you across this fucking room and your gonna have to leave here in an ambulence."..... yes there was like 10 customers in the resturant at the time. he backed away and said "thanks for a warm drink" as he walked out the resturant

What I meant was, you're a big guy; he felt like he was less than you and knew that you wouldn't beat his ass in the resto because he was the client!! It was his way of showing you how tough he was (n't)
