Tostinos Pizza Recall
I didn't hear about this until after I ate 2 Tostinos pizzas last night.
Apparently they were contaminated with e-coli. My roomate saw me cooking the 2 pizzas and then watched me devour them. Then told me about the recall and started laughing. I went and checked this out online because I haven't heard shit about it. I found out it was true. I was freaking out and so pissed off that he would let me eat contaminated pizza. The UPC Code on the box matched the one on the website. After I started to kick his ass he started yelling it was a hoax and he set me up with that fake website, he said he anticipated the searching and did some kind of hack so I would stumble upon this article.
I stop beating on him and let him go telling him it is all good. He called his gf to come get him and leaves about 15 minutes later. Now get this I call the store I usually do my grocery shopping at to ask them about this hoax and they inform me that it isn't a hoax and the recall is true. The store tells me to bring the box back and I will get a refund, I was like I don't give a fucking shit about getting 2 dollars back from some refund, I am more worried about becoming sick and dying. They told me to seek medical attention right away. I don't have any insurance plus I have a warrant out for my arrest (failure to appear at court) so I can't go to the hospital, can't chance getting arrested unless there is ea real possibility that I can die from this.
Can anybody tell me if there is still a risk for e-coli contamination if I cooked the pizza at 450 degress for 14 minutes? The bacteria would be killed at that heat right?
