What does that term mean exactly. I hear British folks on the net screaming it constantly. I am confused.

Us Aussies use it to, sorta means like you making fun of me, taking the mickey outta me, to mock someone, To rile, mock, or be a jerk to another person whether or not the person is joking or being serious.

But taking the piss is, well, being sarcastic in reference usually to someone or something.

"Ive just won the lotto"
"Eh? You taking the piss mate?" Translated: You're kiddin...really?

OR
as a question to an insult

"Geeze you've got fat"
"Oi, you taking the piss or what" Translated: Watcha talkin bout!

Well if you talk in those forums as I have seen you here, then maybe it was meant to be "talking the piss", cause from what I've noticed that's really all you seem to be interested in...piss, bed-wetting, golden showers, etc etc, even ya username, so more than likely I'm sure it wasn't a typo, more like they was taking the piss outta ya

Usually taking a slash is wat one would do in the bathroom...or in extreme cases of drunkeness behind a tree, but never in me pants LMAO
