first day of summer school

im taking spanish 201 ( have to take this to graduate).

im currently 22 yrs old, almost 23. i have not had spanish since i was a freshman in high school ( like 10 years ago).

201 is intermediate spanish... you usually take 105 ( a combination of 101 and 102) before 201, but i dont have the time.

damn good luck that will be tough, go stand on the corner every morning with the illegals and try to learn something from them. They will help you with words like "painting, New deck, cutting grass, moving, ect" Thats what I would do.

i remember u saying that cuz i posted that i have to too. Its gonna be hell for me especially since my political beliefs tell me that i shouldnt have to learn any other language besides english. i see it as one more tool ill be using to use against the illegals.

i took 101 a year ago and that was pretty damn hard. i got through with a B but dont speak a damn word of spanish.

201 is going to be hard as nuts, i cant even explain it. good luck!! and start working on the workbooks once you get them because there are over 500 pages of shit you have to do.

into the second hour ( of a three hour class), i sat in there and looked around the class at the chicks and came up with the conclusion that i would do oh... maybe 75 % of them. good summer session!


oh man, my head hurts alot from all the espanol.... today we were learning stress syllabals, how things are similar in spanish and english, etc.

i think as long as i try, the professor seems cool enough that he will work with me. i actually enjoyed the class today, although im fairly lost. it should be a good four weeks
