how the hell does it cost that much? that sucks ass man I got pretty sick a few months ago and the bills just started getting to me a few weeeks ago....work changed our health benefits, had about 1000 bucks I had to shell out it sucks. cant wait till i graduate from college though and get my piece of this massive medical pie tho

Yup, good luck Ace.

Over 15 days my insurance covered $100,000+ in bills, I've had to pay about 2k out of pocket.

Well unfortunately there is a lapse in my coverage because of some clerical screw up. It is supposed to be fixed next week and then everything that went unpaid will be retroactive, but as of this very moment, it's all me baby.

It's pretty easy for home healthcare to add up quickly.

Cost for the wee one to have his Synagis shot at home once per month:
$2500 single home health nurse visit
$2200 single Synagis shot
= $4700 for a 10 minute visit at home (our insurance paid 100% since the wee one was a preemie)

Ace, you should give the nurse a little extra "lovin'" for a discount.
