who is a home owner?

I bought a place with my brother (were not gay) 2 months back. It was on the market for $350,000 but we got it for $265,000. It needed a paint job and a bit of work, but we finally finsihed it all last week. Who else owns a home?

I do but thinking about selling if they put this huge ass development near me. Only live here cause it is away from everyone... I hate this town, every little bit of land they allow anyone to develop on....gonna move back to my old town where they have a minimum of 4 acres of land per house.

BTW, you dont have to be rich to buy a house. You need 5% (i think) for a down payment. We put down almost 35%, but I have been saving for 5 years now. So even for a $100,000 apartment, you would only need $5000 saved :party0030:

yeah, but it really is smarter to put as much down as possible...of course if you can only afford 5% down, then it is still better than renting....as long as you can afford it and not overbuying which is a trend now.
