i watched a thing the other night about a man who weighted 1072 and had a 7 1/2" waist. they had to get him out of his house by knocking down a wall because he would not fit thru the door. he was covered in feces and anything else disgusting you could think of because he'd not been out of bed in years. the doc said that if he were to lay on his back, the weight from his chest would crush his heart.

He couldnt build muscle. He would have a heart attack before anything.
He needs to be put on a strict diet until he loses a ton of weight, and then light exercize, and then gradually start a lifting routine.

sounds like hes having gastric bypass, my mom had that a while back and lost 90lbs still losing, is it possible to build muscle after that surgery?

I think with that surgery, you can only eat so much. I dont think theres any way he would be able to consume enough food to be any sort of weight lifter.
