Offical Game reviews
Movies, Tv, Music, Bookz and GamesPhotoshop Offical Game reviews in the forums; ok this thread is for game reviews only post what you think of any game you want (please no halo ...
It's the tits. I've played every TH game since they started, and this version is of course the best. Control is virtually the same as the last three games with a few small additions.
The "Focus" feature is a sweet slowdown that allows you to control everything, and possibly pull off something that might have previously been sketchy.
The Create-A-Trick is the best add-on. You ollie/nollie and click both sticks down, then it enters into Focus and you have complete control of your feet for flipping/spinning the board. You can pull off some wikked trix that way.
A lot of the challenges require ridiculous skill, so get all your stats maxed.
The skater's view is pretty intuitive, so you don't have to do much "looking" when you're skating. A lot of times you'll need to jump off your board, though, just to look up and find something.
I'm disappointed with the deck/wheels customization, and the clothes aren't as cool as previous versions, either. The grafx overall are super, so that makes up for the lack of variety.
The environments get better as the game goes on, because you unlock different sections of the THP8 world as the game goes on. The Plant is kind of a small place to skate around in, but there are some ridiculous transitions and gaps.
I give it five out of five.

I thank God for my life
And for the stars and stripes.
May freedom forever fly, let it ring.
Salute the ones who died
The ones that give their lives so we don`t have to sacrifice
All the things we love.
if u love mario 64 then you will love this game i didnt think they could do much more with a mario game but there are all kinds of differnt things in this one its adventure platform racing and stragy all in one its got something for everyone plus its actually kind of hard not like the typical mario game
I'm too lazy to just start reviewing games. More than anything, where would I begin? I own hundreds of games across systems from the original NES to current gen.
Maybe, if someone has a question about a game, or wants a second opinion, I'll help with that.

I was doing an extensive review of Bioshock (thediceman's request) just now when my sister randomly hit the 'Back' button, effectively deleting everything I had typed. I'm tired, and don't have time to redo the whole thing. So I'll just give some basics for now.
I feel there are several aspects of this game that could have used some more thought, such as the weapons/plasmids. It's pretty standard 'psychic warrior' armament, which seems inappropriate considering the time spent on this game, as well as the fact that the characters aren't psychic.
Story and setting, for some people, could be higher-however, I consider plausibility when I rate these. A lot of things here just don't mesh well together when considering the timeline, as well as separate parts of the game itself. For example, psychic powers granted by genetic mods. Also, the fact that the government doesn't bother Rapture (the underwater city the game takes place in), allowing it to regulate itself. I can't see that during any era of our recent history.
My final large complaint is in-game world persistence. Things change, which is supposed to be good. But some changes don't make sense, like constantly respawning enemies. Some rooms never change, which can make backtracking a bit stale, whether or not you have to.
On the upside, this game has amazing graphics and sound, and plays very well (the lowering of this score was due to the weapon system). The ability to hack electronics in Rapture opens interesting possibilities for fighting, and the hacking minigame itself is generally entertaining enough to not make hacking feel like a chore. My favorite part of the game-Big Daddies. Go do some YouTubing or something. You'll see.
Everything else about this game is generally well done, such as the feel of the era from things like in-game posters, to large theaters, and enemy AI.
Overall-this game is worth playing, very much so if you can overlook it's occasional unrealistic points.
