Books i'm reading atm:
- Rainbow Six
- tWoT IV: The Shadow Rising
- Lolita
- Warhammer 40k Rule Book: 5th Edition

Favourite books... i don't really know. Probably a handful of Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett. Robin Hobb's aren't bad either.

Pick up "God is NOT Great - How Religion Poisons Everything" by my man Chris Hitchens. You can't read Dawkins and Harris without reading Hitchens.

btw, spoiler alert -- jesus dies, his friend rats him out

ROFL!
yeah lol I read The Missionary Position by Hitchens, but IMO Harris does loads better at using reasoning and is much more logical then either dawkins/hitchens

My favourite author is Carl Hiaasen, so pretty much anything by him.
Also 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

Currently reading 'Making Money' by Terry Pratchett but it's kinda boring so far, and '...And Another Thing' by Jeremy Clarkson which is damn funny.

I want to read Making Money, i've heard some good things about it. Going Postal wasn't bad, but the earlier books have been undoubtably better IMO.

I've just got kinda bogged down with Making Money, it really plods along without much trace of the Pratchett humour you expect.
His early Discworld books were great (the first 8 or so), then I think he took a slump in quality for a while, then got his mojo back big-time with Night Watch, and he's been pretty consistent since then.

Real shame about his Alzheimer's though, he's a top bloke.

It might be because some of the newer ones don't really introduce unique discworld concepts as frequently as we were getting in the early books. But yes, he does throw out some fantastic ones now and then. I thought Thief of Time was great, probably partly because it consisted of fresh ideas... sort of reminded me of Small Gods, which i also enjoyed, but i guess that might be attributed to it having Lu-Tze.
