How to create cool 3d Photochopz letters in Bryce! (Part 1)
For this tutorial, I will show you how I created these-
If you are new to Bryce, the interface may look really complicated, but it really isnt. It is easy to learn and once you figure it out, you can create anything. I tried to make the steps as simple as possible, but if you get lost at anytime during the tutorial, just tell me and I will help.
If you dont have Bryce, you can try a demo here. I use bryce 6., but I think 5.5 has the same features.
edit-make sure to save youre work when you are done. When I show you how to do more with these letters, it will be easy, because you will have the bryce file handy.
Im pretty sure none of you photochopperz can use this tutorial, because you dont have Bryce. But a lot of Bryce users use Photoshop for postwork on their bryce work, so I a am hoping bryce users find this tut helpful and stick around and join the photochopz community.
Nice tutorial. The program is awesome. I'm in the middle of learning Illustrator, but when I am done I want to learn a program like this and Poser. How are the sky and fog backgrounds on this?

If anyone is interested you can get a free copy of bryce 5.5 by going to the link above and open and account. I just got mine and it's facinating I just hope I can learn how to use it.
I renamed this tut "part 1". I am going to make another one which will show you how to make the pics I posted up ther using the letters. It'll be a start to finish, from making the letters, to rendering, to postwork in photoshop.
Is this the way you created your pic in your sig block? If not then how? Especially the background to it.

lawl, I have bryce 5.5. I'll have to try this in the morning.
I'm working on part 2. Ive decided to make this tutorial into three parts. Part one is done. Part two will focus on textures and lighting, and part three will focus on postwork in photoshop.
