Sin City Style Tutorial - not by a member here though
been messing around trying to get the sincity effect happening and i think i got a few good pics even though they arent true sincity style.
i found adjusting the levels multiple times helped to keep definition and also mixing in the cutout filter and then adjusting the levels again.
For the rain, i used linear burn and adjusted it with free transform and opacity to get the effect i wanted on my cousins pics but on tash i just used a single layer of rain with vivid light rather that two layers.
In both i used the lighting effects rather than gradients because it gave me what i though was a good look and i just couldnt get the gradient tool to work well.
