Photo ChopzPhotoshop pretty hard restoration, how did i do? in the forums; how does it look

If you want to work on anything, I would suggest touching up the shoulder, the shadow above the right corner of the lip and soften the contrast to reduce the harshness just a little. Just minor stuff though.
just a little tip
instead of using the spot healing brush to blend
i lowered the clone tools opacity to about 40% and went over the edges
now i think it worked much better and smoother but it might not work aswell with everything
just a little tip from me
As TX said, the shoulder is the only flaw I see, and not even that big of a deal.

I'm guessing it took you about 1-2 hours, so 35 bucks isn't to bad.
For her to have it done by a big name would....well you know how much it would cost.

One of the reasons I got interested in learning to chop was to do some stuff like this. My mom has a lot of pics. very similar that need work. And since all I have managed to do on this site is gives hours of entertainment but no serious chopping skills, I may have to consider letting you do the work. I'll let ya know when, if it needs to be done.
Good job on the restoration. I'm looking at the texture on the photo paper and sometimes a specialized noise removal filter called an FFT can do a good job removing it. You will encounter that texture a lot doing restoration work. Check out this link. http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/index.php?m=show&id=185
If you need the filter let me know.
