Contest Voting

When voting for a picture in one of the contests, what exactly is being looked at? I see a lot of pictures with high votes that are not very clean. It just seems the choppers are lazy at times and say screw it.

If that is the case then it sucks for people who really do take the time and effort to do a clean chop. If it's not laziness and just lack of ability then I understand, however no help is being given to these artists as they won't strive to get better.

Anyone care to expand on this? Tell me I am nuts?

I think that the creativity/idea/comedic value/quality/skill all come in to play.

its really up to each voters best judgment.

A quality chop that is clean and well done will always be better then the same chop that is done poorly. But at the same time if a chop is just not funny/clever/creative then its going to have a hard time beating one that is.

Makes good sense to me. I guess I'll have to work on making you people laugh/cry for votes.
