I was thinking of a slightly different method for progression in the next tournament.

Instead of picking Person A v Person B like we did last time, how about having the highest scoring 50% of participants from each round going through to the next round.
That way if Person A and Person B both make awesome chopz, then they both deservingly go through to the next round.

What do you guys think?

That sounds fair enough... although i'll feel bad for all those non-deserving people who don't make it to the next round. It's really a question of ethics.
