Yea you can enter something older but it has to have not won anything or have been used for anything or have been a daily deviation at dev art.

Basically if you've entered it in a contest before, or have won awards or something, then you can't use it. The rule below says that the work must be original and created for the contest. So i guess that might mean that it has to be something they can't prove you made prior to the contest.
