Trying to chop a blurry, low res. pic. is like trying to paint a house with a stick. It can be done, but it's gonna look like you painted it with a stick

when u have the object selected,
control + T
then right click to see other selections (skew, warp..etc.etc.)
none of those will arch it tho. they only slant and stuff.
I need it to look like this J
but without the horizontal line at the top.

The warp tool in liquify filter should do the trick, just select a brush size a little bigger than the thickness of the object. Then start at the end you want to curve and drag
I just tried transforming a cylinder with warp, and it's worthless. Too many handles, etc. None of the other tools really do it in one shot, either.
Do you have any kind of 3D program you could load it into? Maybe make a wireframe block inside CAD and stretch the .JPG/.BMP over it.

I think I know what you're after. if I can find what I'm looking for I'll PM you. BnG may have something, too.

I think BnG's idea of the warp tool will work. The only thing is, I'd suggest creating the shape as a mask and dropping it back on top of your warped image, otherwise you have to be too perfect with the edges. You'll see what I mean when you start warping.

i'll have to clean up the edges and trim it to the shape that i need it. i just have an animal print that has to curve too or it will look horrible and not match up.
