Help recreating something please.

Hey, Does anyone know any artists that design these sort of images? I absoloutly LOVE this photos, but have no idea whatsoever how to recreate them or produce something similar. I had a go with my own photos because they were higher res but it turned out a bit crappy.

Im just wondering if you guys could possibly help me recreate something thats different but has the same feel and design to it.

is it more of a Illustrator thing?
Ive got some cool brushes which are like floral ones and japanese ones so i can create sort of vectors on photoshop. I just need to link something back to music.

i think so but i don't know illustrator to say for sure. there's some good artists here that might be able to help.

This can be done in photoshop. I'll give it a try later, I'm preparing a contest entry right now
