tablet purchase help...

I'm about to buy a tablet. I'm trying to keep it at a few hundred dollars, as I don't want a cheapie, and I couldn't work with a 2"x2" tablet. What does everyone have, tablet-wise? Size? Brand? Cost?

I don't own a Tabley, but from my research; the best ones at reasonable prices are:

Wacom Graphire 6x8 ~$200

Then there are the
Wacom Intuous, but more expensive

what kind of an advantage does it have over a graphire? I'm not blowing 2x the money unless it will improve on my sweet skills.

Graphire4. It was $100 at Circuit City and is probably cheaper now...and while I wouldn't mind having a larger one for illo stuff and because I'm on dual monitors now...I can't justify spending money on one when this does everything I need.

I may get something in the next week or so. I'm ready to do some freehand stuff. I'm not as skilt as nda, but I might have some good ideas.
