Question Losing the rich color i had when I save the file out as JPG or other, HELP

so i got this awesome embedded color profile. makes the image and skin look great.

when i save a copy out though, it makes the skin more dull and brown. is there a way to get photoshop cs2 to save a jpg copy with the same rich colors? thanks guys

Are you viewing the photo through windows picture viewer? If so windows picture viewer only reads in sRGB which has a smaller color gamut than Adobe RGB or Photopro RGB. So it's going to desaturate. Photoshop shows the true print colors.

Are you publishing to web? If so change the color profile on the photo to sRGB. Then go to "view-proof set up" in photoshop and temporarily change the setting to sRGB. Re-edit your image to the proper saturation. Many photographers save two copies of an image, one with a printing color profile, one for web. Color management and color profiles can be a bit of a headache sometimes, what you see is not always what you get.
