What were you using before? And yes, it is hard to use. I've been trying to use that and my old photostudio2.0 together. The magnetic lasso is awesome, it really helps.

I'm switching from paintshop pro 7 to this, and I still can't even figure out how to copy a part of one picture and put it into another.

for the picture you want to move around go the box in the bottom right corner with the stuff about layers. it will have a little picture of your pic and it will say background double click background and turn it into a layer. if my memory is correct all you should have to do is click ok. then you can drag the picture where ever or into other frames.

I think photoshop has the same abilities as paintshop pro, except with better customizablity (is that a word) with layers and stuff.

seriously, the best way to learn is by doing tutorials. They teach you how to actually make things, along with where the tools are etc.

Yeah, I've been looking off of pixel2life for a while.

This is my first tutorial chop:

I think I'll start using it as my personal chopz logo

I cant rep you agian, but I would if I could.

Good post, thanks for that info. I'm checking those links out now.

Zigrossi,
You'll get the hang of it quick, dont worry.
At least youve got CS2 to learn on, I had to learn on PS 5.5. In fact 5.5 is what I still do most of my chops on cuz that's what I have at work. It's a pain in the ass.
When I get home and get to use my CS2 it's like eating ice cream! (5.5 = boiled vegetables)

Cant wait to see more of your chops!
