Gifs question...

Using PS7, I've made an animated gif, but at 84k, it's way too big to use for my signature pic. How can I reduce the file size to the required 19.5k, without reducing the image to a tiny size?

host it at a site like imageshack and then use the [img] tags to place it in your sig.

Hmmm, can't get it to work, JB. I keep getting "invalid file" & "invalid url" messages, amongst others.

Do you remember how to post a picture in the forums?

do the exact same thing with your signature.

I tried that, but it makes it tiny, amongst other problems...(as you can see)

thats because you are using the wrong url.

you need to use this one:
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3...eytext2dy5.gif

then place tags around it and it will look like this:

Okay, thanx, I think I finally got it, although I couldn't figure out exactly how much of that massively long URL address to use.

I hate being the new guy who doesn't know anything. You just wait, though. Soon, I'll be the OLD guy who doesn't know anything!
