Wanted: Photoshop CS2

I'm really stuck. I'm using Photoshop 6.01 and I'm terribly tired of this thing. CS2 will do for me, but even at that, I have little money 'cause my income comes from Social Security. I canbuy this at amazon.com for $185 new, but that's still a big stretch. If anbody has upgraded from CS2 to CS3 and wants to sell their CS2 for cheap, leave me a note. I can muster $100, but even that is a stretch.

I'd like to get this in the box if possible, but I don't really need this. Contact me, tell me what's included and the condition, and perhaps we can do business.

I got a ton of these disks from my university, but I beleive you can get them from eBay for around $1,500-$2,000

Well, this has been a nightmare. I was gonna get this masterworks collection from Purplecheese, but I'm suspicious. Then a friend said he'd get me a copy of CS2, but that has fallen through. Yesterday I got a spam and took the bait and went and looked. Here's the page --

Like the masterworks copy from Purplecheese, it looks too good to be true. Usually, if it looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true. But, I dunno. What do you guys think? $79 for an OEM version of CS2? Just what does OEM mean? It may be fully functional, but will it have all the extras like custom shapes, extra brushes, and all that?

Frankly, I'm a CHEAPSKATE and afraid to take a risk. Then again, this is 1/3rd the price of a bonafide retail copy of CS2. Should I do it or not? My PS 6.01 does lots, but it doesn't have scaleable custom brushes, there's some problems with this edition, and some features that are implemented in CS2 aren't found (like, stroking a path with any brush, not just the pencil or paintbrush).

OEM stands for Original Equipment of the Manufacturer

Getting one cheap off the net, especially from an individual could be a pirated copy. There are copies of cs2 that have a crack code with them that people download free. Illegal as hell Some come with a virus. It is still a pirated copy. If you want a legal copy try e-bay or just cowboy up and pay the price.
If someone has a copy to sell and not the box I would be suspicious.
