try to mask the hand better and play with contrast and saturation on the hand to match the background......

Whatever you want to call it, it does not look very good.
All the items look lit from different directions

Not exactly plagiarism but a good start.

Yours needs some work with the lighting. There are too many incorrect highlights on the hammer that need to be burned or shaded out. You also might consider a tint color overlay to help unify some of the different elements in the assembled pics.
