Anyone know where?

Does anyone know where I can find a cheap version of PhotoShop? Im not asking for pirated software, I just cant afford it new. I am looking into getting back into photoshop again, I think I was pretty good. Thanks!

What versions are worth my while? I've heard that cs is good but I dont know if that is new or not.

Yes. Any students qualify for discounts. It doesn't matter if you are majoring in General Studies, IT, or Psychology.

I looked in the store yesterday. had totally forgotten about Adobe Photoshop Elements. It's actually a really nice program for chopping and medium-grade photo editing. Plenty of CS2-level tools, just not as much control on the colors and higher-end stuff you'll probably never use.

Yeah, it really is sufficient if you are just chopping and messing around. Even for basic design/editing it is fine. I used PE 7 before I got CS2. Sure CS2 is better, but PE 7 is much more affordable. I mainly got CS2 because I wanted to edit digital photos and liked some of the features it has.
