Tutorial on how to make a background that looks like ice

Hey guys...
I am looking for a tutorial on how to make a background that looks like it is ice...
I want to take my favourite hockey player and put him on ice... figuring it is a hockey player the background of ice would suit it... i have looked but can't find one... so if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated...

Can you clarify? When you say background, all I am thinking of is a pic/texture image of ice and I think, why not just use a pic.

Some of the different stock photography sites will have a good selection to use.
