Requesting Banner - Photoshop Tutorials | Photoshop Contests

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I'd like to request just a simple banner that looks professional and catchy. This year's theme at work is "This is Our Path"; basically a journey towards the direction of our goal. The banner can be any size, but preferably smaller than 375x375 pixels. I'm not a very picky person, but I'd just like a decent banner that might impress some co-workers. It only has to say "This is Our Path" and whatever design/graphics you'd like to add that would make it nice. It doesn't actually have to be professional at all, just not crossing the line with anything like naked people or inappropriate content for the working environment, stuff like that. Thanks all!

I just spent a few minutes on this one. Its probably not what you were thinking of but I guess its a start.
Could you be a littel more specific about what you want?

Sure thing. I just didn't want to be too picky, is all.
Hmm...to be a tiny bit more specific without being too picky...

A darker schemed color style...like black/white/gold/dark blue or something like the such.

Graphics aren't required...so text only is fine, though if you can find a decent graphic for the background, that would be so great and awesome too!

If it's going to be text only, the text can be something like a "shaky" effect...like the text is shimmering kinda blurrily...Something that looks like it is just ready to pop and explode right out of the screen. Or any other text effect that might be somewhat impressive.

Just some eye candy to impress people. It doesn't have to be complicated or too much work put into it. I guess for you pro-Photoshoppers, something like this would be easy for you.

Still pretty vague.

Maybe if you could sugest a theme to use like: heaven or blue sky or war or paradice or a beach or something like that so we have some kind of idea of what kind of look to give it.

There doesn't have to be a theme. Just a blackish blackground with the rest dark colors like black/dark blue/white/gold and text effects with the phrase "This is Our Path". I would prefer the banner to be rectangular more than squarish. The one joshbond posted is too bright and the text is a bit dull. Could you try making it darker and put in the text effect I described before? Like the shaky/blurry/shimmering letters that look like they're going to break off? And no light beam thing you had in the two that you posted, please. Or maybe a cool glowing style along with this. It can also be a .gif and moving image effects, just not too big size.
