How do you make this outline?

i used to use cs2 when i was going to school a few years ago. i have cs3 now and i was wondering how i could make outlines like the ones pictured. it's been so long since i used photoshop.

or you could take each car and move them to their own canvas and play with levels on each one to get to a more black and white pic once you have done that just use the wand tool and select the black and make it a work path then apply a stroke . easier than pening it in IMO

yeah i might do that. i remember that there was a command you could click.

you could make a point on one side of the page and then when you click on another side of the page it would make a line connecting the two points. if you hold the mouse on one of the dots and move it up or down, the line would bulge. it's like connect the dots.

i hope that wasn't too confusing.
