Help in choppin' car photo

Hi Photoshop Gurus!

Maybe somebody can help me.

I tried to change the color of this picture:

to this:

I'm kinda lookin' at the new one and I'm thinking that there's somethin' wrong...it's still dirty on the edges and I got the color that I like but it seems that something's lacking.

Please help anybody...I would appreciate it

and can you also change the color of the car to the same green color above

Thanks a million!

Check your highlights, they are missing on color changed car.
Using a masking layer to re-introduce them as a separate layer will help.

Too shiny eh! Well I'd just use the sliders on the 'Highlight' layers and slip 'em down a notch (about 5% or so) to lose that showroom finish, or use Bodyshop cutting paste on your monitor screen!!!What!!! LOL! Just kidding Wolfie
