First off, I'm not racist. Secondly, I just found these sigs and love some of the effects that are used by them. I tried replicating the metallic border with no luck.

create new layer> select all
go to edit>stroke select pixel size and color desired
then play around with layer styles until you get the look you want.
i used pixel size of 4 on this and made it a .png file so you can save it and use it if its the same size the example pics.
Thanks man. I'm going to try this out this evening. I'll post what I can make and see what you think. Actually I thought of using edit>stroke but thought it would only make a solid color border.
UPDATE
With Arson's help, I created this all from scratch. And once again I'm NOT A RACIST or NAZI. I just happen to love WW2 history and love making graphics for clans that play that type of games or forum members on various WW2 forums.
Everything in in the sig is made from scratch, except the image in the center.
You can add some more drama with light grunge brush effects and light color tints over the photos to get more of the look in your sample posts.
Did you make the logos at the bottom?
I made the logo at the bottom left and added a gradient to the edge and key for a metallic look; the logo at the right I just cut out of uniform I found while Googling and added a smart sharpen filter to it.
What do you mean by "light color tints"? I'm not familiar with that style or even know how to do it.

You can download grunge textures and brushes and put them on layers above your photo and change the layer blend mode to color, soft light, etc. and decrease the opacity of the layer to get different looks and add aged photo damage looks to your pic. Try this texture and place it over your image with the layer set to color and opacity between 10 and 30%. Just to give you an idea I threw that texture on and added a grunge brush painted black at 50% on a seperate layer set to soft light. Just spent a couple of minutes but should be longer to fine tune your look.

Wow! I was hesitant at first to use any grunge brushes on b/w photos, but it really added to the artistic quality. Thanks man. I need to try this out.
