Hiya fellas, been busy working on another sig, here's my final result of that first one. It still has a couple flaws but I'm moving on to other projects.
Anyways let me go ahead and show ya whats up.
That was first attempt I was goina add some other touches, but then it dawned on me to pop the character out from the background more so...
There it is, current progress. I'll have to shade her later of course, Now she breathes. I had to start the older animation from scratch and build the picture around her breaths instead of trying to fit her into the other picture breathing properly, so things like the moonlight aren't finished.
Anyways ya'll I need some suggestions please. I'm running into some technical issues too... but more on that at the end...
What can I do about that grass on the left? Cropping is not an option, I can remove it if I can think of something to replace it with. I tried googling pictures of cattails, nothing interesting showed up.
It's far from done, but I thought it might help to get that ugly grass out of the way ahead of time before I finishing building everything around it.
I still plan to incorporate lightning bugs, fairies, possibly wind, and alot more fairy dust into the picture IE (replace the glowy dot with a fairy dust ball that leaves a trail) in to the picture if you need an idea, but for the most part it's done other than just adding more movey things. The 10th Kingdom Intro video on youtube summarize my theme pretty well if you would like to check it out.
As for the technical issue, things move at different paces. The dust is 0.05, the girl breathing is 0.07, the Text writing is 0.12. I'll probably add a few more things in there and have to adjust for those too.
My question, how do i work with this? Chop my frames down to 0.02 and animate the dust ever 3 frames, the girl ever 4, and the text every 6? That's the brute force method for it, but will that make the picture too big or something? I'm still a novice at this stuff, but I do know i'd need well over 400 frames to finish this project if I did that, and photoshop stalls at 250.
This is kinda an epic pic, I still want to fit a Cinderella transformation in there, but that'll be the last thing on the list to do.
Thanks ya'll,
